LJ: I'm really liking it here

9 August 2016

AFTER hearing advice from former loanees at SN1, Lloyd Jones says that he is looking forward to learning a lot during his stay in Wiltshire.

“I’m really liking it here,” he told the official website. “Obviously, the Head Coach likes to play football a lot which is really positive.

“I’ve heard off quite a few of the lads that have been here. I know Jack Stephens who was here before. He said it’s a brilliant place to come on loan because you learn a lot. I’m looking forward to getting used to a new formation.

The centre-back outlined what fans could expect from him in Town’s red and white and looked ahead to tomorrow's EFL Cup Round One clash with QPR at Loftus Road.

"I’m quite dominant in the air," he said. "I like to step out when I can and I’m a winner too. I want to win as many games as possible.

“I’m looking forward to it (facing QPR). It will be a good test and I’m really looking forward to the challenge. They’ll be physically very strong and will have a game plan. I’ve played against Burton before so I know Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink likes to set out his teams quite strong and solid so it will be a good test.”
