Town Head Coach Luke Williams has revealed that both Jon Obika and Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill could well feature against MK Dons on Friday.
The pair are currently on the comeback trail from injury but are progressing well and could be in contention for the trip to Stadium MK.
“Brandon is close and that one will probably go right down to the wire,” Williams said.
“Jon looked very good today in training and he’s got a real good chance to be involved against MK Dons.
“It is really healthy to have players at the top of the pitch performing well and we just need one or two more to hit the back of the net then we’ve got real competition there.”
James Brophy is also closing in on a return following a lengthy injury layoff and could have an outside chance of featuring on Friday.
“James trained today so that means he is very close,” added Williams.
“There is always that final bit to make sure that he is ready to do battle in a league game but he is very close.”
However, Ellis Iandolo continues to be sidelined and will be assessed over the coming days.
