Town Head Coach Luke Williams can’t wait to see his side take on Sheffield United on Saturday (3pm Kick-Off) and is expecting an electric atmosphere.
The Reds head to Bramall Lane tomorrow hoping to stretch their unbeaten run in the Sky Bet League One to three straight games and Williams revealed it is a trip he and his players are really looking forward to.
“It is one of the games we really look forward to because you are aware you are at a big club and everything is top notch from the moment you walk in,” he added.
“It is a great place to go and a great atmosphere.
“You know it is going to be a good atmosphere and you know it is going to be a tough game and the playing surface and the facilities there just oozes top class.
“It’s all those factors that make us really look forward to this fixture.
“It could well be Sheffield United’s year to go up. We have thought that over the last few seasons and it hasn’t quite happened, but it looks like now they are really putting a run together and they’ve got some momentum behind them so this could be the year for them.
“It looks like Chris Wilder has found some form at the moment and found something that works for the team.
“We have seen some really good performances at Bramall Lane and last season we were outstanding there.
“It is a great place to go and we’re really looking forward to it.”
And Williams has pinpointed Billy Sharp as one of the Blades’ biggest threats tomorrow with the striker able to boast twelve goals to his name so far this season.
“I’ve seen Billy play a number of times, at Championship level as well, and I’ve always been impressed,” he continued.
“He has never failed to be involved in a goal somewhere along the line so I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’ll be a threat to us.”
