Vigouroux: Starting To Click

26 February 2016

LAWRENCE Vigouroux believes that Town can continue their recent run of good form at Peterborough tomorrow afternoon.

The on-loan Liverpool man added that the visitors need to focus on what they need to do and look beyond Posh's recent results.

"We're just starting to click into gear and I think we can continue that on Saturday with a tough game at Peterborough," he said. "Their league form hasn't been great since the cup run but I think we've got to look past that and focus on what we have to do and that's go there and get three points and get as high up the table as we can.

"They'll come at us so there will be a bit of pressure on them to beat us. Recently - more so in the Colchester game - we were brilliant there and if we do the same I think we'll beat Peterborough."

Finally, the stopper reflected on the past month so far.

"We were unlucky to lose to Port Vale with a makeshift back four," he said. "We did really well and deserved a point. Colchester are a team that needed to win and they came at us but we held firm and got the three points that we deserved. Against Blackpool they came here to sit back and hit us on the counter and we adapted well to that and deserved to get three points. All in all, it's been a good month so far."
