SWINDON Town hope to be in cup action on Sunday in the re-arranged home tie against Tottenham Hotspur in the second round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup, writes Roger Reeves.
The tie has been postponed twice so both sides are keen to get the fixture played. The winner have been drawn away to Gillingham in the next round.
Sunday’s game will be played at Royal Wootton Bassett FC, Gerald Buxton Sports Ground, Brinkworth Road, Royal Wootton Bassett. SN4 8DS and will kick-off at 2pm.
Manager Steve Robertson said: "It has been difficult having the two matches postponed so we are really looking forward to getting the game played.
"We have spent the time with extra training, but nothing can compare to an actual game. We will obviously be starting as underdogs but it is the FA cup and anything can happen."
Abby Picton is available again and is included in the squad
