As the 2016/17 season opener against Coventry City creeps ever closer, the midfielder says the Town are in good shape to start the campaign.
"It was a nice day for me (going back to Woking)," he told swindontownfc.co.uk. "It was nice to see a lot of good people at the club I'm close to. There is the old cliché is about getting minutes under your belt in pre-season and working on a few things which we did. Obviously the result wasn’t great in the end but it was nice for me I hope they have a good season but it’s all about Swindon now and about what we do.
"It will be a good test tomorrow. Swansea have some good players that’s for sure and we’re looking forward to it. Hopefully we can put on a good show at the County Ground as well as work on a few things, get a good result and really build towards the start of the season against Coventry."
He added: "There are always funny results popping up in pre-season where you think "what happened there?" but there are a lot of players that come in and a lot of substitituions that break up the flow of the game and you tend to change formations but there have been a lot of positives for us this pre-season. Training has been excellent, we’ve worked really hard and the boys are fit so we feel like we’re in good shape to start the season."
