Speaking to the media after the game, the midfielder says that he has enjoyed every minute of his time in Wiltshire so far.
"It was nice to get a goal," he said. "I know a few of the players that played tonight. I was there for a long time and it's always nice to score but the most important thing in pre-season is fitness. We’ve been working a lot on tactical things. For 70/80 minutes I don’t remember them troubling our goal at all but there are plenty of positives (for us) to take out of it.
"I'm quite versatile - I played a lot on the left side at Woking. It's important I get in the box and score a few goals as well. It’s a very enjoyable way to play (at Swindon). I've loved every minute so far. A big pull (coming to Swindon) was the game we play. It's something different but it's something I really enjoy."
