LV: Happy to be back

1 July 2016

LAWRENCE Vigouroux says that he is happy to be back at Swindon Town on permanent basis after a season-long loan spell at the County Ground last term was ended prematurely by an injury.

Having worked hard to regain full fitness, the former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur stopper admitted that a move to Wiltshire had been on his mind during the off-season.

“It’s what I wanted all over summer,” he told STFC PlayerHD. “I’m really happy and looking forward to the next few years ahead. I worked quite hard over the summer I’m in good shape – I’m back from injury - so happy to be back here and looking forward to the season.”

He added: “I was out for a long time last season. I was looking forward to getting back and I can’t wait to get started. I’m just happy that I’m back here. There’s nowhere that I’d rather be.”
