STLFC face Maidenhead trip on Sunday

18 March 2016

SWINDON Town Ladies travel to face Maidenhead United on Sunday in the FA Women’s Premier League, writes Roger Reeves.

The Town won the home fixture by two goals to nil with Beth Westlake and Ellie Maynard finding the net. Maidenhead are, at present, in fifth place with twenty two points from fourteen outings; four points behind the Town who have only played ten games.

Manager Steve Robertson said: "We have had two good wins against teams challenging for the top but it’s games against the teams lower down the league that concern me more. It is not difficult to come unstuck against these mid-table teams. We must keep our concentration and commitment in these sort of matches."

Alex Hurst was injured in last Sunday’s game against Chichester so is out but Meg Vella returns for Sunday’s game.

SQUAD: Robyn Levett, , Alice Smith,  Sam Quinn, Serena Smith, Ellie Maynard, Alison Witts, Chyna Collings, Savanaha Winstone, Meg Vella, Natalia Haigh, Michelle Rich, Beth Westlake, Sarah Uzzell, Chenise Austin, Sally Butterfield and Meg Attenborough.
