Celebrities join Heart Wiltshire for Global's Make Some Noise charity football match

ON May 13th celebrities from The X Factor, Eastenders and The Only Way Is Essex will join Heart Wiltshire at the County Ground in Swindon to take part in a charity football match to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise.

Players will include Calum Best, Shayne Ward, Jake Quickenden, Dane Bowers and Scott Robinson.

Global’s Make Some Noise was created by Global, the media & entertainment group, it gives a voice to small charities and projects across the UK that struggle to raise awareness. The projects are often operating on a shoestring or tackling an issue that is not well understood.

Global’s Make Some Noise unites all of Global’s brands including Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth and Gold, which reach 24.1 million people every week. Grants are awarded to projects across the UK that help disadvantaged youngsters living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.

Calum Best told Heart Wiltshire’s Ben and Mel: “We get to play football and live the dream. I’m thrilled to be playing and it’s a great charity that we’re playing for!”

Ben and Mel, said: “Global’s Make Some Noise is a truly amazing cause and this game promises to be a brilliant event. This match is set to be a great way to raise more money for projects across the UK that are struggling to raise awareness.”

This month, Global’s Make Some Noise awarded Wiltshire based charity Hop, Skip and Jump a grant of £42,952 to provide quality respite care for children and young adults with disabilities and special educational needs.
