Barry Refusing To Settle For Just A Point At Exeter

8 November 2016

Brad Barry is refusing to settle for anything less than a victory against Exeter City this evening (7.45pm Kick-Off).

Town head to St James Park later knowing that just a point in their final Southern Group C game would send them into the knockout stages of the Checkatrade Trophy, but Barry wants to bring all three points and that winning feeling back to Wiltshire.

“It is just a point we need but we are looking to go down there and take all three,” he said.

“It is another cup we can progress in and we want to go as far as we can in it.

“It is in the back of your mind that we just need a draw but we want a winning mentality and we are trying to create a winning habit.

“We want to take all three points every week.

“I remember playing against Exeter last season and I know Will Hoskins because we were at Brighton together.

“We want to win every game we play in.

“The goal is to play at Wembley and every boy’s dream in England is to play at the home of English football, but we will get in the knockout stages before we start thinking about that.”
