MATCH PREVIEW: SCUNTHORPE UNITED V SWINDON TOWN

Town will be hoping to upset the form book when they lock horns with Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Saturday (3pm Kick-Off).


Luke Williams’ side face a tough task in the form of the Sky Bet League One leaders, who currently sit three points clear at the top of the table.


Town were beaten 2-0 by Walsall last time out whilst the Iron romped to a comfortable 3-0 victory away at Chesterfield at the weekend.


Scunthorpe ran out 6-0 victors the last time these two sides met at Glanford Park in March 2016, whilst goals from Raphael Rossi-Branco and Nicky Ajose handed Town the three points at SN1 in November 2015.

TEAM NEWS:


SCUNTHORPE UNITED - Luke Williams is progressing well from injury but will miss out through injury, whilst Scott Wiseman will be handed a late fitness test ahead of the game.


Jordan Clarke and former Town loanee Harry Toffolo will definitely miss out tomorrow.


TOWN - Raphael Rossi-Branco is available for selection again after completing his three-match ban, although Brad Barry is suspended for tomorrow’s encounter after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign against Walsall last weekend.


Michael Doughty could be involved after recovering from illness, although the game will come too soon for James Brophy, Jordan Young, Jordan Stewart and Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill.
