Town Renew Partnership With Heart FM

10 October 2016

Swindon Town Football Club are delighted to announce that we have renewed our partnership with Heart FM for a second year.

The club joined forces with the local radio station last year to raise £19,000 for the Make Some Noise Charity, which will be one of two chosen charities this year.

Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group will be the other charity which will be supported by both Town and Heart FM.

As part of the partnership between the two parties, the club’s Pro Red initiative, which aims to make football affordable for families and to attract the next generation of supporters through the turnstiles at SN1, will be promoted by Heart FM throughout the year.

And the club will also be hosting another charity football game at The County Ground following its success last year, with further details to be announced in due course.

Speaking about the new deal, Marcus Langreiter, Managing Editor at Heart FM said: “Following the success of our Celebrity Football Match in May, I’m really pleased that Heart and our charity, Make Some Noise will be partnering again with Swindon Town throughout the season.

“At Heart we are passionate about Wiltshire and the town, we can’t wait to get involved with the club’s family and community projects like Pro Red.”

Town’s Head of Commercial, Adam Wainwright, added: “We are over the moon to have extended our partnership with Heart FM.

“Last year was hugely successful and it was great to see such a big turnout at the Celebrity Football Game, and even better to see how much money that event raised for charity.

“We look forward to staging another charity game next year and we are also delighted that Heart FM have agreed to get behind our Pro Red campaign, which is an initiative we really want to push this season.”
