Swindon Town Football Club have released the following statement in relation to the use of pyrotechnics at recent home games.
During the last two home matches we have seen the use of pyrotechnics (flares/smoke canisters) and other objects in the Town End which has meant that the club could likely face a severe penalty.
The club reiterates that any fan who is involved in any incident involving dangerous objects being used will face a lengthy banning period from The County Ground Stadium.
We already have a witness from the match v MK Dons and we would ask for any supporter who has information in relation to these incidents to please contact the club viaKarenr@swindontownfc.co.ukas soon as possible.
