Swindon Town have launched the #PackTheCG campaign for Saturday’s huge game against MK Dons and we will have exclusive interviews with a number of players and coaching staff throughout this week.
Ahead of our crunch clash against MK this weekend, Town Head Coach Luke Williams has penned an open letter to the Swindon Supporters.
Dear Town Fans,
It is a massive game this Saturday and this is the first of five huge cup finals for this football club – there is no doubt about that.
They are all huge but if we can get another win on Saturday then it might change everyone’s state of mind drastically.
You, the fans, have been brilliant so far this season both home and away and your support at Fleetwood last weekend was outstanding – it really helped get the boys over the finishing line.
You can make a real difference on Saturday.
We’re fully aware of you when you get behind us and, I really believe this when I say it, it really pushes us forward.
We are going to be really grateful if you #PackTheCG on Saturday and make a lot of noise.
I’ve been here when we’ve played Bristol City and The County Ground has been full to the rafters and we’ve played the likes of Chelsea here in-front of a full house.
You can tell a huge difference when this place is packed and a lot of noise can inspire the players.
We are all well aware of the task that is facing us and the key word for this weekend and for the rest of the season is unity.
The more people we’ve got fighting for us and the more people we’ve got in our corner then the stronger we are and the more we feel like we can get the job done.
Your support will be absolutely huge this Saturday and, on behalf of the coaching staff and the players, we can’t wait to see a wall of Red & White at The County Ground.
Let’s get the job done together.
Come on You Reds!
Luke Williams, Swindon Town Head Coach.
