Swindon Town pushed a very strong Norwich City team all the way in their 3-2 Carabao Cup First Round defeat on Tuesday evening.
Olly Lancashire gave the Reds the lead at Carrow Road but the Canaries hit back straightaway through Cameron Jerome, before further efforts from Wes Hoolahan and James Maddison put the hosts in the driving seat at the break.
However, Town were much improved after the interval and they pulled a goal back courtesy of Paul Mullin’s second strike in as many games.
