Gaffer Expecting Another Tough Test Against County

Dave Flitcroft Previews Our Final Game Of 2017

29 December 2017

Swindon Town Boss Dave Flitcroft knows what to expect from Notts County on Saturday and he has stressed that everyone is working together to turn current form around.

The high-flying Magpies are the visitors to The Energy Check County Ground tomorrow (3pm Kick-Off), in what is the Reds' final game of 2017.

Town were put to the sword 5-0 by Luton Town on Boxing Day and have only one win from their last seven outings in all competitions.

However, Flitcroft has insisted that there will be no finger pointing as his players continue to put the hard work in as they aim to get back on track.

"It will be another test of the squad, another test of the individual and another test of the collective," he said.

"Saturday will give us the opportunity to see who is with us and who isn't.

"You get a blame culture in any business or any workplace and it won't be successful - it is dead easy to point fingers and it is dead easy to start blaming other people.

"We've got to start looking at ourselves and make sure that we put it right.

"That's what we started doing on Wednesday.

"The players have been together this season and the disparity between home form and away form is clear, it is evident.

"Maybe some more competition might re-stimulate some of the players."
