Swindon Town Boss Dave Flitcroft is eyeing progress in the Checkatrade Trophy this evening.

The Reds host Forest Green Rovers in the Second Round of the competition at The Energy Check County Ground (7:45pm Kick-Off), and the Gaffer wants a return to winning ways following three straight defeats.

"It is very hard to gauge what teams are going to do in the Checktrade Trophy, especially in the group stages, and it is difficult to plan against the opposition," he said.

"We'll have to concentrate on what we do, we'll have to improve what we do and that will be our focus going into the game.

"Every game is important and I want to win as many games as possible.

"Competitions do generate cash and it is another competitive game that can't come soon enough for me."

Flitcroft also provided an injury update with a few players still stuck on the treatment table at The Energy Check County Ground.

"I don't think Donal (McDermott) will make tonight," he added.

"He's probably looking at the middle to the backend of the week.

"Chris Hussey might be training with us at the backend of the week, but we're in the hands of the specialist with that one.

"Luke Norris took an injection to play on Saturday, he was desperate to get out there for us but with the lack of work he's done he wasn't ready for a start."
