Swindon Town Football Club hosted our ever popular Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch on Thursday.

The event was attended by over 130 people at The Energy Check County Ground, with guests enjoying a superb two-course meal before playing a game of Bingo and being visited by Santa!

Town Manager Dave Flitcroft and Assistant Boss Ben Futcher were also in attendance, as were players Tom Smith, Matty Taylor and James Dunne.

Speaking about the importance of these events, Dunne told swindontownfc.co.uk: "These people take time out of their day to come watch us on a Saturday and I felt it was important to take time out to come and repay them, answer their questions and get to know them.

"It has been a good day and I spoke to a lot of people in there, they are good people and it was nice to be able to talk to them, sign autographs and take pictures.

"They've had their lunch, they've played Bingo, had a raffle and it was nice for us to be able to come and interact with them.

"It was a good day."

Swindon Town Football Club would like to thank the Swindon Town Supporters Club and the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club for sponsoring this event.

Richard Wintle, from Calyx Picture Agency, was present to snap the best of the pictures from the Dinner, which you can view in the bumper gallery above!
