Swindon Town will be keeping their fingers crossed that a number of players are able to prove their fitness before the trip to Accrington Stanley on Saturday (3pm Kick-Off).

Dave Flitcroft's side head to The Wham Stadium this weekend with a few injury concerns on their hands.

Amine Linganzi, Paul Mullin and Luke Norris all limped off during Tuesday's defeat to Forest Green Rovers, and Flitcroft will give the trio every opportunity to prove that they are ready for action on Saturday.

"It is an ongoing problem with Paul Mullin. He felt probably the best he's felt on Saturday and got through some good work, but he felt a bit of a twinge in his groin area.

"Luke Norris rocked his ankle injury so there's obviously a weakness there, and Amine Linganzi just tightened up again.

"We'll have a look at it on Wednesday and assess it from there."

Flitcroft also provided updates on Chris Hussey and Donal McDermott and he's hopeful that he'll have at least one of them back for this weekend.

"It was a big day on Wednesday in term of the injuries we are carrying from Tuesday's game and potentially knowing where Chris Hussey is," he added.

"Donal McDermott came through a non-contact training session on Tuesday so we'll see how he reacts to that.

"We might possibly have one of them back for the Accrington trip.

"We have got Tom Smith and James Brophy back, so we'll be okay. They have benefitted from going out on loan and are ready.

"We have Thursday and Friday and that will hopefully give us time to get the players back to where we want them."
