Mullin Ready For Friday Night

Striker Looks Ahead To Tonight's Game

15 December 2017

Paul Mullin is ready and raring to go for tonight's Sky Bet League Two encounter against Colchester United at The Energy Check County Ground (7:45pm Kick-Off).

The Reds entertain The U's shortly and Mullin is looking forward to having the opportunity to secure a vital three points at home.

"It is just the same for us and everyone looks forward to a matchday - it doesn't matter when it is," he said.

"We're looking forward to the game.

"It is a great opportunity for the fans to come down after work. Night games don't really change much.

"We've been finding it hard to find a formula at home because teams play a lot different at our place than they do at their own place, but we will get that right.

"Hopefully we can have a decent start tonight.

"If we win tonight then we go back up to fifth place and only two points off third place and that's where we want to be come the end of the season.

"We've been finding it hard to find a formula at home because teams play a lot different at our place than they do at their own place, but we will get that right. Hopefully we can have a decent start tonight."

"We know where Colchester's strengths lie, we know where our strengths lie and it is all about making our strengths better than theirs.

"That's what we're going to try and do."

And Mullin has been pretty pleased with his own form in recent weeks having put one or two impressive shifts in.

"I feel like I've been playing really well," he added.

"I've been playing upfront the last two games and I enjoy that - it is my position.

"I want to help the team and I feel like I've had a good start to the season."
