Smith Returns To Millwall

Striker's Loan Comes To An End

26 December 2017

Swindon Town Football Club can tonight confirm that Harry Smith has returned to parent club Millwall.

The towering frontman joined the Reds on a season-long loan back in July following an impressive start to life in professional football with the Lions.

Adding to the wealth of attacking options at SN1 this season, Smith made his Town debut away at Carlisle United on the opening day of the season and went on to score three goals in 18 outings for the club.

Speaking at his post match press conference earlier, Swindon Boss Dave Flitcroft explained the reasons for Smith's early departure.

"Harry will go back to Millwall," he said.

"He's not been too pleased with the game time he's had or not had around this period.

"I wanted everyone on my page, on the same page and everyone looking forward to the second-half of the season.

"Harry has gone back and we'll make that official."

We would like to thank Harry for his efforts during his time with us and we wish him the best of luck for the future.
