Jones Previews Coventry Clash

25 February 2017

Lloyd Jones is hoping today’s game against Coventry City (3pm Kick-Off) proves to be the turning point in Town’s season.

Swindon head to the Ricoh knowing that three points is a must against the Sky Bet League One’s bottom club as they look to move away from the relegation zone.

“We’ve got thirteen very important games left and the next four are all six-pointers,” Jones said.

“We had a really good game last Saturday, obviously we didn’t put the ball in the back of the net but the draw is the start and now we’ve got to beat Coventry.

“The table doesn’t lie and we’re at the bottom for a reason and we’ve got to give it our all in every game now and take a few more risks to win these games.

“I don’t feel that much pressure going in to games because I’m confident in our team and we’re here to do what we enjoy so hopefully we can get six points from the next two games.

“We’ve set a target of 50 points and we need seven wins. We haven’t had a run this season so hopefully today will be the start of one.”
