Town Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has stressed just how important it is that he and his team-mates shake off the disappointment of Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Oldham Athletic as quickly as possible.
Despite dominating proceedings and creating a plethora of chances, the Reds were unable to claim all three points and now face three huge games at the bottom of the table, starting with the trip to Coventry City next weekend.
“We deserved a bit more but it is back to the drawing board. We’re all deeply disappointed but we’ve just got to dust ourselves off and go again,” Vigouroux exclusively told Town’s Official YouTube Channel.
“We’ve got Coventry next weekend and that is going to be another tough game. They are a team that won on Saturday so they will be up for it and we’ve got to go there and deliver a performance that will get us the three points.
“I got a bit too angry at the end of the game on Saturday but it just shows that we care and we don’t want to be down at the foot of the table.
“We’ve got players here that can help us out of it and it is going to be a tough few games but we’re playing teams in and around us and we’ve got to pick up as many points as we can.
“Hopefully we can go on a run before the end of the season and work our way up the table.”
