Colkett - We Need To Focus On Ourselves Against Bolton

Charlie Colkett is relishing the chance to pit his wits against Bolton Wanderers this afternoon and is confident Town can come away with all three points.

Having signed on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season earlier in the week, the talented midfielder could well make his Reds debut at the Macron Stadium later today (3pm Kick-Off).

With two training sessions with his new team-mates now under his belt, Colkett believes there is enough quality in the Town dressing room to spring an upset against the in-form Trotters.

“I want to try and bring my A game as much as possible,” he told

“It will be a different challenge but that’s what you want, you want to play in the big pressure games.

“If you put three or four wins together then you can fly up the table and things can change so quickly, so I want to get some goals and assists and help push us up there.

“It is one of those games you really look forward to in a season and Bolton is a huge game.

“They got a good result against Crystal Palace the other day but we’re just going to focus on us and give them a run for their money.

“We won’t get too caught up in the opposition – we just need to focus on us and our strengths.

“What I saw in training was great so we go there with confidence and we need to do our thing.

“The lads have helped me to settle in so hopefully that can continue and I can get some minutes on Saturday.”
