Charlie Colkett was “over the moon” in the wake of Town’s 2-1 victory away at Bolton Wanderers following a dream debut.
The midfielder produced a stunning display in his first outing for the Reds and had a hand in his side’s first goal of the afternoon at the Macron Stadium, before laying on a superb ball for Yaser Kasim’s dramatic late winner yesterday.
“I haven’t stopped smiling so I think that sums it up! That’s what we’re here for and we’re here to put some points on the board,” he exclusively told Town’s Official YouTube Channel.
“What a feeling it is!
“I thought I had a really strong game and I tried to be here, there and everywhere. I haven’t played in a few weeks but I feel really fit and I assisted the winning goal, so I’m over the moon.
“You can’t beat that feeling, especially in the dying moments of the game.
"It is brilliant.
“It was disappointing to go a goal down but we stuck to our plan brilliantly and you are going to have little wobbles in the game, but it is about how you dig in and come through and we managed to nick it.”
