VIDEO: Dabo Confident Of Town's Chances Against Bolton

14 January 2017

Fankaty Dabo is confident Town can upset the form book this afternoon and come away from Bolton Wanderers with all three points.

Swindon are in action at the Macron Stadium later (3pm Kick-Off) and will be hoping to secure what would be a huge win in their first away game of 2017.

And Dabo, who could well make his debut for the Reds after signing on loan from Premier League side Chelsea earlier in the week, believes his new side have got the quality at their disposal to spring a shock today.

“I’m very excited. This is a good club to play for and I’m keen to learn, keen to impress and keen to get some experience,” he told Town’s Official YouTube Channel exclusively.

“There is a good bunch of lads here and it hasn’t been hard to settle in and learn about the club.

“We had a good, quick and intense first training session on Thursday and it was a whole new experience.

“We want to do well against Bolton and pick up three points.

“We have to believe in ourselves first of all and we’ve got to go there and play our own game and we’ve got to nullify their threats.

“We’ve got to make sure our game comes out on top.

“I’m hoping I get my debut but if not then I’ve just got to be prepared and ready to come off the bench.

“If I don’t get my debut then I need to help my team-mates prepare for the game and give them good, positive energy.”
