Ben Gladwin enjoyed a dream third debut for Town at the weekend as he helped secure a huge 2-1 win away at Bolton Wanderers.
The midfielder, who returned to SN1 on loan until the end of the season from QPR last week, got the Reds back on level-terms in the second-half on Saturday with a superb drive from distance.
That laid the foundations for a brilliant comeback as Yaser Kasim netted a dramatic late winner, and Gladwin was just thrilled to have played his part in helping to take a big three points back to The County Ground.
“It was brilliant and I was pleased just to get 90 minutes under my belt and obviously the three points for the team,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
“The goal was the icing on top.
“The three points was a massive boost and it was a huge win for confidence if nothing else.
“It isn’t nice when you go in the dressing room and you ask what the other results were and you find out all the other teams won, but it can always be worse so it was important we got those three points.”
