Swindon Town’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Forest Green Rovers in September will be screened live on Sky Sports.
Dave Flitcroft’s side will now head to the New Lawn to take on the EFL newcomers on Friday 22nd September – 7.45pm Kick-Off.
Town will enter the 2017/18 campaign as one of the favourites for promotion while Rovers are preparing for their first-ever season in the Football League, and the Sky cameras will be in attendance to capture all the action under the lights.
The game will also see the Reds pit their wits against former manager Mark Cooper for the very first time, who led Forest Green to a historic promotion last term.
It will cap off a busy weekend of EFL action on Sky Sports with Aston Villa hosting Nottingham Forest on Saturday teatime, before Sheffield Wednesday take on Sheffield United in the Steel City Derby on Sunday.
