Town are nearly able to boast a clean bill of health although Anton Rodgers is a doubt for the Sky Bet League One clash against Millwall this weekend.
The midfielder had to pull out of a Development game on Tuesday due to a back problem and he could be forced to sit out on Saturday when The Reds host The Lions at The County Ground (1:30pm Kick-Off).
“We’re pretty close to a full squad but Anton Rodgers has got a small problem,” Town Head Coach Luke Williams said at his pre-match press conference earlier today.
“His back is giving him a lot of problems at the moment. It is not a major thing but it keeps on repeating and we need to get to the bottom of it.”
However, Yaser Kasim is available for selection again after coming through 90 minutes in a Central League fixture on Tuesday unscathed.
“Yaser Kasim isn’t fully match fit but he’s available to take part in the squad,” Williams continued.
Finally, Williams stressed that only players who are fully committed to the cause will be considered for selection in the coming weeks with Town battling for survival.
“Everyone is available for selection but, as I’ve said before, I need to be absolutely sure that anyone who goes out on the pitch is at least in the correct frame of mind and ready to give everything,” he concluded.
