Town are amongst the latest batch of clubs in the EFL to move over to a new digital platform with a fully mobile responsive website and online video service.
The Reds and EFL Digital have joined forces with Realise (Website) and Neulion (Video Service) to bring Swindon fans around the world a far better user experience – whether on a PC or a mobile device.
Town General Manager, Steve Anderson said: “We are really excited to launch our new digital platform today and we hope our fans find the website easy to use.
“We as a club very much believe that our new website will be a game changer and I’m sure the new live video streaming function will prove to be a very popular new feature with our overseas fans.”
Town’s Head of Media & Communications, Andrew Steele-Davis added: “A lot of hard work has gone into building our new website over the last couple of months and I’m thrilled with the finished product.
“We are forever trying to improve our content and make it more engaging for our fans, and I really believe that our new platform will help us to achieve that goal.
“This is very much the start of an exciting season for us in terms of the content we have got planned, so keep an eye out for some new features over the coming weeks and months.
“The new iFollow platform, which replaces the old Player system, also launches today and we will be striving to bring you plenty of behind the scenes content throughout the 2017/18 campaign.”
