LOAN WATCH: Mixed Fortunes For Twine & Smith

A Round-Up Of How Our Loanee's Got On

6 November 2017

Swindon Town had a total of two players in loan action over the course of the weekend with both Scott Twine and Tom Smith gaining valuable minutes.

Here's a detailed look at how the pair got on...

TOM SMITH:

The all-action midfielder has impressed during his time with Bath City and he played the full 90-minutes as his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Whitehawk on Saturday.

Jamie Lucas had fired The Romans into the lead from the penalty spot, but a late effort from Kodi Lyons-Foster ensured the game finished level.

SCOTT TWINE:

Twine has been in lethal form for Chippenham Town but he wasn't able to prevent The Bluebirds from suffering a 1-0 defeat away at Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday.

The striker had a fantastic opportunity to open the scoring in the first-half but was unable to take it, and Bradley Hudson-Odoi's strike after the break proved to be enough to secure all three points for the hosts.

Elsewhere, Tom Ouldridge has returned to Town following the completion of his loan spell at Chippenham, while James Brophy wasn't given permission to feature for Leyton Orient in The Emirates FA Cup at the weekend.
