ACADEMY: Macca Previews Yeovil Test

U18's Looking To Continue Fine Start To The Season This Morning

2 September 2017

Town U18’s Manager Alan McLoughlin is targeting a fifth successive victory for his side today.

The young Reds take on Yeovil this morning (11am Kick-Off) looking to continue their fine start to the 2017/18 season which has seen them rack up four straight wins, scoring 16 goals in the process.

“We have Yeovil away and we should go there confident,” Macca told swindontownfc.co.uk.

“The players are fit in the main, Joe Romanski might be the only doubt for the game, but apart from that we go to Yeovil fit and raring to go.

“Hopefully we can go there and get another three points.

“I haven’t seen a lot of Yeovil and you don’t know how many players would have been First-Years last season and are currently Second-Years.

“That normally plays a factor and I expect Yeovil to be competitive and take the game to us.

“They are at home, they would have seen the start to the season we have made and they will be more than happy to take the challenge on to try and beat us.”
