Swindon Town Boss Dave Flitcroft was pleased to have been able to cast an eye over Coventry City in the flesh at the weekend ahead of tonight's game.

The Reds host The Sky Blues at The County Ground later (7:45pm Kick-Off) with a third straight win the aim.

Having played on Friday, Flitcroft was able to take in Coventry's win against Exeter City on Saturday and he has told his players to focus on what they do best this evening.

"Live eyes are always key," he told members of the local press at his pre-match press conference on Monday.

"You've got Wyscout and certain other outlets that you can watch the games on, but any opportunity Futch (Ben Futcher) and myself have to go and watch some live games we take.

"I love football, I love getting out and watching live games and learning myself and it gave us an opportunity to cast a 360 degree view over what Coventry had to offer against the leading candidates to do well this season in Exeter.

"It was a game where they were tested against the league's best and it was a good opportunity to go and watch them.

"The result was quite resounding really.

"We've relayed that back to the players in terms of what we are going to expect on Tuesday and we've got to go into the game concentrating on us and concentrating on what we are good at."

Dave Flitcroft

"Exeter didn't have many opportunities, they didn't have many chances and structurally Coventry were very good and they keep a lot of clean sheets.

"They were very brave in attack and it was a very professional performance against the top team at the minute in the league, hence the clean sheet.

"It was brilliant to work out where Coventry are at and why they are on a good run at the minute.

"We've relayed that back to the players in terms of what we are going to expect on Tuesday and we've got to go into the game concentrating on us and concentrating on what we are good at."
