Chris Hussey feels that Town's superb 3-0 win over Luton Town on Saturday has sent out a clear message to the rest of the Sky Bet League Two.
The left-back's stunning strike, which has rightly earned plenty of plaudits, coupled with efforts from Luke Norris and Paul Mullin saw the Reds return to winning ways in style and maintain their 100% record on the road.
"It just came out to me, I chopped inside and it just fell for me right and fortunately it went in," he told swindontownfc.co.uk exclusively.
"The emphasis this week was to keep a clean sheet because it is well known that we have conceded a lot of goals, so I was more than happy with a clean sheet.
"The goal was a bonus, the assists are a bonus but I'm really happy with Saturday and I'm sure all Swindon fans are.
"It just goes to show that we can go anywhere and win. We can take a lot of confidence from this and I've come here to get promoted, the Gaffer has come here to get promoted and he's brought me here to get promoted.
"Saturday's result shows that it is a tough league and if you do things right then you can be up there and I'm pretty sure we will be up there.
"We need to take this into Tuesday now and I'm sure we will get a result."
