INJURY UPDATE: No Fresh Knocks For Town Ahead Of Barnet

Reds Nearing Clean Bill Of Health

1 September 2017

Swindon Town have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of Barnet to The County Ground on Saturday and are nearing a clean bill of health.

The Reds will be looking to bounce back and return to winning ways tomorrow (3pm Kick-Off) when they host The Bees, who have endured an indifferent start to the 2017/18 Sky Bet League Two campaign.

And Dave Flitcroft, speaking at his pre-Barnet Press Conference earlier today, revealed that almost everyone is fighting fit and raring to go with only Kyle Knoyle and John Goddard sidelined.

“There are no fresh injuries,” he said.

“It has just been a slow process with Johnny G and we’re just looking at ways to keep his CV up.

“He’s still getting pain on his toe and I’m wary of the impact of the injury, but it is frustrating me now the length of time he has been out because you do miss a Johnny G.

“We’re hoping now that he’s had an injection and it has settled it down that we can get him back at the training ground and on the grass.

“Kyle Knoyle is coming on really well and he’s doing okay. We’ll hopefully have him back in and around what we are doing within the next two weeks.

“He’s been on the grass for the last seven days so he’s doing really well.

“Other than that we’re okay.”
