Ben Purkiss feels Town will be posed with a physical test by Cambridge United on Saturday.
The Reds welcome The U's to The Energy Check County Ground tomorrow (3pm Kick-Off) with a return to winning ways the aim.
"I think they will be a tough side and they will be quite direct," Purkiss told swindontownfc.co.uk exclusively.
"They have got two very strong and physical strikers upfront and they are strong in the central areas and at centre-back.
"We are expecting a physical challenge.
"We're looking to get more points on the board at home and I felt there wasn't much in the game on Tuesday.
"The turning point was probably the red card but even after the red card and after they scored, we still pushed and I thought a draw probably would have been a fair result."
Purkiss is one of only two Town players to have featured in every game so far this season, and the right-back has been pleased with his performances so far.
"It always helps but you only get that regular run of games through consistent performance and I look back and review the season so far from a personal point of view and I feel like that consistency has been there," he added.
"I feel I have performed better in some games compared to others but across the board my contribution has been good.
"It is good to get a consistent run, it gives you confidence and hopefully I can continue that."
