Matty Taylor is the latest player to lavish praise on Scott Twine for his impressive home debut on Tuesd
Twine was chucked into the Starting XI during the 2-2 draw with the Glovers and he flourished, earning a standing ovation following what was a stellar display on the left-flank.
And Taylor, who moved over to the opposite side in order for Twine to slot in on the left, spoke of his admiration for the 18-year-old.
"I must say that Scott Twine was exceptional and it was great to see him get his home debut as well," he told the local press earlier today.
"Scott didn't surprise me and he didn't surprise the manager either because he's been showing his quality in training on a regular basis.
"He got his opportunity in the first-team based on merit.
"It was fully deserved but the thing now for Scott is he's set the level and he's got to continue playing at that level.
"I think he will do because I was really impressed with him but also really happy for him being a local lad and coming through the Academy.
"Historically, Swindon have always produced very good young players and hopefully Scott is the next one."
