Twine To Get His Chance

Gaffer Impressed By Young Striker

9 April 2018

Scott Twine could well be rewarded for all of his efforts behind the scenes with a chance on the big stage in the coming weeks.

The young striker has spent the majority of the season on loan at Chippenham Town, impressing for the Bluebirds with his clinical displays in-front of goal.

Not afraid to get stuck in and help out with the physical side of the game, despite his slight frame, the 18-year-old has been hard at work in training and he's certainly caught the eye of the new Gaffer.

"There are one or two young lads that are contributing because they play with no fear," Brown said.

"One lad in particular who has come through the ranks at Swindon has more than impressed me and that is Scotty Twine.

"He might just get a run-out between now and the end of the season which would be great news for everybody.

"It is not just a case of throwing him out there, I want to do it because he's impressed me in training with his attitude and mentality.

"It isn't just the experienced lads that have got to contribute, it is the inexperienced ones as well."
