Swindon Town were on the end of a 3-2 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park on Tuesday evening.
Marc Richards' early opener was cancelled out by quick-fire efforts from Luke O'Nien and Craig Mackail-Smith, before Matty Taylor's stunning free-kick restored parity on the hour mark.
Town were well on top in the second-half but they were unable to find a winner and were punished in the dying minutes after Adebayo Akinfenwa headed home to clinch all three points for the hosts.
