Swindon Town could well have Olly Lancashire back for the trip to Chesterfield this Saturday, although Amine Linganzi remains sidelined.
Lancashire missed the 3-2 win against Port Vale last time out with an ongoing ankle injury, whilst Linganzi has been out of action since January.
"Amine has had a bit of a setback so he's got to go back and see the specialist," said Town Assistant Boss Ben Futcher at his pre-match press conference earlier.
"We are a bit worried about that and it is not ideal but the medical department are dealing with it and are doing the best they can.
"It is disappointing he's not back at the minute but they are doing the best they can with it and there's no real timeframe on it.
"Olly has had a couple of days rest and he's trained today so he'll be available for Saturday."
And Town will also be able to call upon the services of Kellan Gordon on Saturday, who is available again after serving a three-match ban.
"He's back in the squad," Futcher confirmed.
"He's not missed too much, he's fresh and he's raring to go."
