Swindon Town were put to the sword 3-1 by Coventry City on Saturday in an action-packed encounter at The Ricoh Arena.
Goals from Maxime Biamou and Marc McNulty fired The Sky Blues into an early lead, before Ollie Banks struck before half-time to reduce the deficit.
Town created a glut of clear-cut chances in the second-half but they were unable to make them count and their fightback was halted by McNulty's second goal of the afternoon late on.
