Martin Smith is looking forward to Saturday's pre-season friendly against West Bromwich Albion and he can't wait to strut his stuff at SN1.
Town play host to the Championship outfit tomorrow at The Energy Check County Ground (3pm Kick-Off), and Smith is relishing the chance to pit his wits against top quality opposition.
"I'm buzzing - I can't wait," he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
"Those are the games you want to play in and those are the games you want to be involved in, albeit it is pre-season and we're building up our match fitness.
"We all can't wait for it.
"It is a step-up from the games we've had so far and it will be a really good test for us.
"It is going to be one we're going to enjoy and thrive off.
"We're buzzing, we're ready and we will be ready and prepared for it.
"I can't wait. I was at the ground last week and the pitch is absolutely magnificent - it is one of the best in the country.
"I can't wait to get on it on Saturday and play on it.
"I'm really excited and it will be a really good test for us."
