Jermaine McGlashan became our first signing of the summer last week after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal at The Energy Check County Ground.
Here's all you need to know about our new winger...
- Jermaine Dave McGlashan was born in Croydon on 14th April 1988.
- McGlashan stands at 5ft 7in.
- The 30-year-old is a winger but he can also operate in a central role behind the striker.
- Jermaine began his career with his local team Tooting & Mitcham United, before plying his trade for the likes of Staines Town, Bracknell Town, Kingstonian, Raynes Park Vale, Merstham and Ashford Town.
- Following a trial with Southampton, where he wasn't offered a deal due to the emergence of a certain Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, McGlashan signed for Aldershot Town on a one-year deal in 2010 and made his debut against Watford in the League Cup.
- After over 50 outings for the Shots, the wide-man went on to have spells with Cheltenham Town and Gillingham, before landing at Southend United in 2016.
- He has spent the last four seasons in League One and made over 70 appearances for Southend over two years.
- McGlashan has racked up 329 Football League games under his belt to date.
- Jermaine will spend the next two years in Wiltshire and he'll be looking to add a promotion to his CV.
