Town Boss Phil Brown has revealed that the club are still in discussions with Ryan McGivern and Stuart Moore over new contracts.
The duo were one of six players offered new deals for the 2018/19 campaign with Matty Taylor and Joe Romanski having both committed their futures to the club, whilst Matt Preston and Amine Linganzi have moved on.
And Brown admitted that it is a waiting game in regards to whether or not McGivern and Moore will put pen to paper at SN1.
"We're still in talks with Ryan McGivern and we're still in talks with Stuart Moore," he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
"It is ongoing and that is all we can say.
"It is positive but it is ongoing.
"One day they will wake up and hopefully decide to play for us next year and, if that's the case, then we'll have a decent stock."
