Jermaine McGlashan is loving life at SN1 already and is looking forward to his first pre-season game on Wednesday.
The speedy winger - signed on a free transfer from Southend United earlier this month - has just completed his first week of pre-season as a Town player and feels he is settling in nicely.
"The first week has been good," he told swindontownfc.co.uk.
"We did the yo-yo on the first day back so we got into it pretty sharpish and the boys looked pretty fit coming back.
"I've got to know people's names and it was a good bit of bonding for me to be able to stay overnight as well.
"I'm enjoying it.
"I'm getting on with the boys and there is a good bit of banter flying around so I'm settling in pretty early.
"You are like a little kid again when you get your boots on and, fair play, we had the balls out on the third day so you can't complain.
"You are getting your base fitness up at this stage and when the games start coming you are working up towards your first 45.
"The Cirencester game will be a good one for me and you always look forward to your first pre-season game.
"It will be good to see some of the fans and get that first 45-minutes under the belt."
