Swindon Town Football Club can confirm that Luke Norris has been sold to Colchester United today for an undisclosed fee.
The striker has agreed terms with our Sky Bet League Two rivals after being granted permission to hold discussions with the U's.
Norris signed for Town in August 2017 from Gillingham for an undisclosed fee, making his debut away at QPR in the League Cup.
He finished his debut campaign in Wiltshire with six goals in twenty-five starts, but bounced back in emphatic fashion to enjoy a superb 2017/18 campaign, finishing as the club's leading scorer with 14 goals in 38 outings despite having to battle with various injury problems.
The club took up a one-year option on Norris' contract in the summer but the 25-year-old will now depart for pastures new.
Everyone at Swindon Town Football Club would like to thank Luke for his service to the club and we would like to wish him the best for the future.
