Swindon Town are delighted to announce that we will be holding two events to mark the 25th anniversary of our promotion to the Premier League.
31st May 1993 will forever go down as one of the club's greatest days in its history, with a Paul Bodin penalty sealing a 4-3 success against Leicester City at Wembley and promotion to the top flight of English football.
That side are still revered to this day with the class of 1992/93 held in the same regard as the 1969 team that so famously won the League Cup.
This year marks 25-years since Town painted Wembley red and proudly took their place amongst English football's elite.
So, to celebrate this milestone, we have organised two events in order to make sure we mark the anniversary in style.
On Friday 20th April we will be hosting a 25th Anniversary Dinner in the Legends Lounge at 7pm, where members of the team from that famous day at Wembley will be present to share tales and pose for pictures.
The cost to attend will be £25 per person and you can register interest via https://www.eticketing.co.uk/swindontown/.
Then, players from the class of 92/93 will be in attendance at our Sky Bet League Two clash against Grimsby Town at The Energy Check County Ground the following day!
We can confirm that Fraser Digby, Paul Bodin, Micky Hazard, Shaun Taylor and John Gorman will be in attendance, plus further names will be announced in due course.
