Swindon Town Football Club can confirm that our Sky Bet League Two fixture with Yeovil Town on Saturday has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Wiltshire has been hit by adverse weather conditions and freezing temperatures all week and, as a result, the EFL arranged for a pitch inspection this morning.
The playing surface at The Energy Check County Ground is frozen and has therefore been deemed unplayable with more bad weather forecast for the weekend.
With conditions around the ground expected to worsen too, the safety of players', staff, supporters' and the general public was taken into consideration.
We will inform all supporters when a new date has been arranged for this game, and we will also confirm ticket details for the new fixture as soon as we have them.
