CARLISLE CHOSEN AS A JUNIOR MATCHDAY

25 October 2018

Swindon Town are pleased to announce our Junior Saturday takeover for our fixture against Carlisle United on Saturday 17th November.

The match is free of charge for under-11s and on the day, there will be a variety of activities for the kids to enjoy including face painting, tyre challenge, selfie boards and Rockin’ Robin.

In partnership with Football in the Community, we are delivering 500 tickets to a variety of local schools, disability groups and community projects giving young supporters the opportunity to attend a match at the Town.

First-team players will also be doing appearances and attending sessions in the local community so keep an eye out for a visit to your school.

In addition, in the build up to this fixture we are putting on a junior fan week giving these local projects and schools an insight into Swindon Town and a look behind the scenes by putting on free stadium tours across selected days.

Our Head of Ticketing, Danny Lee said: “Our junior takeover scheme is designed to further engage with our young local fan base. For many this may be their very first visit to the Energy Check County Ground and we want to provide them with not only a memorable experience, but a desire to return.

“We as a club are committed to developing our community outreach further and this gives us a great chance to build on this, by going out into the local area with our first-team players and giving something back. These supporters are the future of our football club and we want to do everything we possibly can to engage them at a crucial point in their football lives.”

A maximum of two child tickets can be redeemed with an adult ticket. Tickets can be purchased online or in store and right up until kick off.
